You can add images of payment options in the bottom right part of the footer. Go to Customizer → Footer → Payment Options to add images. Upload how many images you like and arrange the order with drag-and-drop.

For each payment option that you add, you will have the option to add a Retina image. This should be double the size of the regular image for a crisp display on Retina displays.
