You can make it possible for users to filter on the product catalog page:

To enable this, first go to Customizer → WooCommerce → Product Catalog and enable the Filter toggle:

Second, you need to add the filter options. To do this, make sure you are viewing the Shop page. Then go to Customizer → Widgets and click on Categories & Filters (NOTE: this option will only be shown if you have enabled the Filter option as shown above and if you are viewing the Shop page).
